Compact and (sorta) cute: The Earbud Yo-Yo

The Earbud Yo-Yo isn’t the first attempt at finding a simple and attractive solution to dealing with tangled earbud cords. There have been a number of solutions to this long-standing issue in the past. This one may be one of the more inventive and elegant solutions.

My own earphone cord is so tangled it would take a CSI team to unravel it all, so this strikes me as an interesting idea.

The Earbud Yo-Yo offers a cool way to keep the cord wound and secure, while still looking attractive too.

They offer enough designs for the yo-yo that just about anyone could find one that suits their personality.  They range from patriotic, to zebra print, to tie dye and then onto just simple ones that feature a single color. So nearly anyone can express themselves and keep their cords managable at the same time.

These will make their debut at CES this January, at which point we’ll likely find out more about how much these will cost.  Until the price is known, it’s hard to say if a product like this is really worth it. If it’s $10 or less, great. If it’s more than that, eh…i’d rather just deal with some tangled cord.  You can also keep an eye on the products on their website to check for any news or new tidbits about the product’s development and pricing.
