Is there a water theme today? The Liquid Image Scuba Mask

liquid-imageHere’s a fascinating device: A scuba Mask that records HD images. The latest models are the Video Mask 310, Scuba Mask HD320 and the Liquid Image Pro HD350, and each ascends as far as feature set and price.

Each mask is capable of recording HD quality at 720p resolution, which with the size of these things is really amazing. The masks listed above go up in capability, with the only main differences being that the starter model has a depth range to 33 feet while the higher models can go 115ft to 330ft respectively. 16Mb of memory is included in the starter level which can be expanded by an SD card. The next models have 64Mb RAM, and can be expanded.

If you dive professionally or want to record the wonders of the sea than these are a perfect solution (and unlike the last entry, these have an actual reason to be waterproof!).

The starter model will be available in February for $160 suggested retail, while the next model up will be around $215.
