Egg-citing Invention: The BeepEgg
Boiling an egg is one of the simpler culinary things in life, but for some people not blessed with extraordinary kitchen skills, its easy to mess this up. With this “singing” egg timer, The BeepEgg, no more worrying as far as eggs go.
All you do is plop this into the water along with your egg(s). It even has different songs for different stages of egg doneness, in a bit of whimsy by the designers. Example: when the egg has reached the soft-boiled point, it will begin to sing “Killing Me Softly”.
There’s different songs for medium and hard-boiled too. Just take it out and put it in cold water and the singing stops. Simple and slick enough, and perfect eggs every time.
