Gadgets are getting more and more complicated these days. We ourselves love convergence and combo gadgets, but every once in awhile we just want something simple. This USB Fan from Elecom is anything but complicated; it’s a simple gadget that does a very simple thing elegantly.

All you do is unwrap it, and plug it in, and your days at your desk will instantly be cooler. That’s all there is to it; no batteries or charging at all. Speed is of course adjustable via the little dial in front.

Yes, it’s early Spring and much of the world is fairly cool right now, but warmer days will be hitting soon enough, we figure. This gadget will run you a measly ¥1,200 or about $12 USD.
