Gadget Chic: The Book Clock
We’ll periodically profile “work of art” gadgets, just nice looking functional gadgets you can get on the web that are more artistic than geeky in nature. This is one of those cases: The Book Clock, a sharp looking and useful device that tells you the time and fits well into any bookcase in an office or other such room.
Perpetual Kid’s chic offering is shaped just like a collection of 3 “fake” books with a ‘nine’ and a ‘three’ printed on its bound sides. It looks decently realistic for those who don’t wish to wall mount a clock but still need to know what time it is, or for those with limited space.
Its not greedy either: it operates on just 1 AA battery and comes in 2 color variations: a purely black version and a more colorful version (shown), each for just $27.99 (reasonable, though not cheap).
