Project Your World: The Viewsonic Short Throw DLP Projector

Need to use a projector for high res images but only have a small room? This new ViewSonic projector looks to be just the ticket. VS is launching a DLP projector, the PJD5351, ultra-light at 5.5 pounds and looks to be very cool indeed.

Its rated at 2500 lumens, which means it can project clearly even in if it isn’t pitch dark in the room showing the images. A 2000:1 contrast ratio is included with a res of 1024×768 XGA pixels for images. But most interestingly of all, its throw ratio of 0.9 which permits a 50 inch image to be thrown from just 3 feet or so, which is pretty darn useful.

Manual focus and digital zoom function is included as well as dual RGB inputs, component, composite and S-Video that permits connection to many kinds of gadgets.
