Real or Fake?: The DiamondNite Stone Tester
You’ve seen the movies: A stone appears, and a character in glasses usually examines it carefully for a few seconds, and exclaims it isn’t a real diamond. Now how do they do that? Maybe you can have that ability too with this next gadget, the DiamondNite. It’s a great gadget for every woman (or man, we suppose) that has to know if they got a real stone or not.
You can tell what it is with a simple beep/light pattern. If it doesn’t beep at all, its something other than a moissanite; a higher pitched beep with a red light means it is the aforementioned moissanite (commonly mistaken for a diamond). A continuous beep with a green light means you have the read thing, a genuine diamond.
It only takes 1.5 seconds of contact for it to give a reading, and it operates with a 9 volt battery (which is nicely included). Which is especially nice considering this gadget is $199.95 retail price. Worth it if you have a need to identify real diamonds easily and quickly.
