Gadget Chic: Kenwood SP0001 Glass Speakers
Yes, they’re only sold in Japan right now, but hey, we had to show you these slick bad boys. Most speakers are made of some type of wood or plastic, but these are all glass and super-slick and modern looking. The Kenwood SP0001 line looks to be the very pinnacle of gadget chic in Japan.
There’s two kinds of speakers in this line: one without lighting and for a little extra cash, you can get a set with white and blue LED lights inside them (the ones shown here in the pic).
Glowing blue LED glass speakers may be just the compliment to your design scheme, but these don’t come cheap. They’re only 10W per channel too, which adds a little salt to the wound. The price tag: 100,000 Yen (that’s $1,000 per pair, folks!).
