Secret Spy Tie: The iTie

itieTies are seemingly an accessory of modern day male life in the workplace, and they’re usually just dull pieces of cloth that hang there, not doing a whole lot really. Now with iTie, you can actually make that tie work for you. It has a hidden compartment created for small MP3 players like the iPod Nano, but could be used for anything that fits without dragging against your neck. Other uses for this: business cards, credit cards, cash and little cell phones too.

This is a very cool idea that isn’t really a “gadget” per se, but the neatness of this design caught my eye and we wanted to share it with our readers.

You can buy a six-pack of the pockets themselves and they’ll cost you $34.95; these would require sewing expertise, of course.  The ready-to-go iTies will run from $35 to about $60, depending on the material and style.
