Burn Notice: The UVSunSense Band
Ever been out at the beach, and don’t feel like its that sunny outside, and you end up getting burned bad anyway? It happened to me just recently. Well, these new bands hope to put an eye to that tragedy.
This band looks out for harmful UVA and UVB rays: the UVSunSense band. It lets you know if those rays are present, so you don’t get burned without realizing it. It even tells you when you need to reapply your sunscreen.
Here’s how it works: as you put on your sunscreen, you also put a little of the lotion on the UVSunSense band. It turns purple, but the color fades as the sunscreen wears off. When it has no color, time to put on more sunscreen lotion. I wish I had this the other day before my neck burnt to a crisp.
You can grab a handy 7-pack of UVSunSense bands from Amazon for just $5.87, which is cheap to save your skin.
