Inside Info: The Body Check Ball

If you ever become curious about the internal stats of your own body (body fat to muscle ratio, etc), this slick little device might be just what you’re looking for. It’s called the Body Check Ball, and it’s available in Japan right now.

The device has a sharp backlit LED screen that displays information about your bone density, body fat and muscle ratio and other stats, and it’s quite simple to use.

You just hold the ball in the palms of your hands, and then a pair of fancy electrodes will bring you your health stats by passing signals through the palms. It’s pretty interesting technology; similar to biofeedback and other related stuff.

The Body Check Ball will run you $39 each.
