Not Just a Plug: The Icon Socket

Plugs are plugs, right? Well, sometimes yes and sometimes no. In this case, even the basic plug strip has been slicked up and made very modern and ergonomic in design: see the Icon Socket.

Takumi’s Icon Socket is a very slickly designed round power strip with a giant plug logo on the front, in case you weren’t sure what it was for. It can take up to four devices plugged in at once, and the design is round so that things can fit on there without taking the real estate a typical strip does.

The socket has a magnet on its back, so you can mount it on the legs of your desk, or on your file cabinet for easy reach. This sells for 3,150 Yen ($34) at Amazon.
