H2O En-light-enment: The Water Powered Torch

Ever been stuck somewhere that batteries are not in easy reach, but you really need some light? Well, these are just what the doctor ordered: The Water Powered Torch flashlight. Its a heck of an idea, and it should be given the price tag.

Japan Trend Shop has begun selling the Water Powered Torch on their website. It seems this gadget uses AA NoPoPo hydrogen-powered batteries (and they’re even included) that can be recharged using beer, cola, or even (god forbid) urine. That’s right, folks. You’ll always have light, no matter what, pretty much.

They’re compact (3.75-inch x 1.08-inch), and the Water Powered Torch is available for $54 USD each.
