It’s a speaker system for the Apple iPod or iPhone that works as an iPod dock, speaker system and packs a little something extra too.

If you want to watch a movie on it, the Rotating Speaker System will turn the iPhone 90 degrees sideways so you can watch it properly in its aspect ratio. The company boasts full, rich sound and lighted controls, and it comes with inserts that allows it to fit any style of iPod or iPhone device, and works as a charging dock when turned off.

The Sharper Image Rotating Speaker System should be up for purchase on October 15, here for example, for $79.99, which isn’t a terrible price for something pretty slick and useful.

Maybe that’s the latest cool look; to appear as if you’re a drug user. Who knows these days?

The iPill is a microphone attachment that is compatible with the iPod nano 4G, iPod classic 120GB, and iPod touch 2G, pretty much the whole range of recent iPod devices.

The iPill is available in the US for $13 (£8) and is a great gift idea for anyone who is attached at the ear to their iPod.

This new case makes the iPod look like a bar of chocolate (almost), protecting it from prying eyes.

It has all the openings needed to still use it; an opening for the earphones to plug into, and a clip opening too.

It comes in 3 different ‘flavors’ of a sort: white chocolate, milk chocolate and a red (strawberry) chocolate. The case won’t cost you much, which is assumed since the new iPod Shuffle is so tiny there won’t be a need for much material.

You can grab this clever little cover for $8.99 from SwitchEasy.

BudFits convert your existing earbuds into real “headphones” if you have the problem of traditional earbuds slipping out of your ears (a more common problem than you might think). Then as the picture indicates, it holds the earbuds in your ears.

These new buds, which won an Innovations award at CES 2009, aim to acheive that elusive goal and make the sound better as well.

The Acoustibuds (purchase link) sound amazing both on paper and in specs. These are actually silicone adapters that fit over most earbuds (including those sold with popular mp3 players like the iPod) and will help to keep in those earbuds and includes noise cancellation technology as well.

The key is with the flexible fins (see the photo); they follow the shape of the ear opening and make the headphones stay in even when running or jogging. There’s only 2 sizes of buds, so I suppose there might be a few out there out of luck, but they should fit most.

At only $12.99, these are a no-brainer for anyone who listens to music with earbuds regularly with exercising.

The Earbud Yo-Yo isn’t the first attempt at finding a simple and attractive solution to dealing with tangled earbud cords. There have been a number of solutions to this long-standing issue in the past. This one may be one of the more inventive and elegant solutions.

My own earphone cord is so tangled it would take a CSI team to unravel it all, so this strikes me as an interesting idea.

The Earbud Yo-Yo offers a cool way to keep the cord wound and secure, while still looking attractive too.

They offer enough designs for the yo-yo that just about anyone could find one that suits their personality. They range from patriotic, to zebra print, to tie dye and then onto just simple ones that feature a single color. So nearly anyone can express themselves and keep their cords managable at the same time.

These will make their debut at CES this January, at which point we’ll likely find out more about how much these will cost. Until the price is known, it’s hard to say if a product like this is really worth it. If it’s $10 or less, great. If it’s more than that, eh…i’d rather just deal with some tangled cord. You can also keep an eye on the products on their website to check for any news or new tidbits about the product’s development and pricing.

This case manages a combination of not only being useful in more than one way (we love that), but in disguising your Nano too. For most people it would just look like a notebook, but once you open it up there is a compartment to fit your Nano into. The notebook part would be useful to either doodle or to make quick notes about things you need to remember for later.

It’d be great for anyone that’s addicted to constantly taking notes for various reasons, from shopping lists to other things. We love our multi-utility devices, and this is yet another.

The outer part of the case is made of leather, which makes this notebook look even nicer. It also has a built-in hole to plug in your earbuds or a speaker too. These come from the Danish company Scripta. Hopefully they created the case so that it was easy to replace the notepad for when it has gotten too low. The notepads come in various colors and combos, ranging from bright garish colors to black.

It will fit the iPod Nano 3G and you can pick it up from Scripta for 139 DKK or about $27.

If you are having issues keeping warm this winter and listening to your music while staying warm, you might check out these Noggin Nets. They appear to be a nice heavy material that holds up well through the winter. Plus it was created to incorporate your music, so it will work a little better.

However, if you already have a hat and just put earbuds into your ears I’m not sure it’d be much different. The Noggin Net does have at least a couple extras to it though that it make it worth considering.

The biggest extra being the pocket on the beanie to hold your iPod while you walk around. Which some people might like, especially if you don’t have a lot of pockets. However, to me it just looks like you’re asking for someone to run to the side of you and yank it out of the hat. It depends on the neighborhood you’re in, we suppose.

It also has ways within it to manage the cords of your earbuds, in order to make you feel like you have a nice wireless music environment. If you don’t like how your earbuds work with the cap you could also get the earbuds that were meant to fit with this cap, called LimbGear Buds.

You can pick the cap up in various sizes for different heads for $29.50.

Never know if an urgent texting or e-mail emergency may spring up.

Speck has created this niche with its QwickDraw holster-style case that features the super secure Speck “Qwick Latch” technology that keeps your phone locked in place so it wont fall out no matter what activity you’re involved in at the moment, whether it be horse wrangling or grabbing madly at a falling cup of coffee at a local cafe.

The rotating belt clip allows for a full range of horizontal and vertical positions on a belt/waistband and offers fast access and removal of the phone. The case comes in black and fits both iPhone 3G and the original iPhone and is available now for $29.99 online. Great holiday present for a person constantly on the go who needs quick access to their iPhone.
