This will help you stay close to your loved ones even if you’re away from home.

The screen is 3.5” in size and has a resolution of 320 x 240 (which is decent), and a 4:3 aspect ratio, so longer pics might not display as well. It includes 128MB of memory internally and support for a media card reader too, so it can display even more pictures. You can preset 20 stations on the radio too, so its even useful in that regard.

To grab this cool clock you’ll have to visit the Best Buy store or go online via this link and pay $49.99.

Well, look no further than the Eye Clock, where a pair of eyeballs take over for the hands of a clock to display the current time. It’s a weird concept, but yet sorta cool at the same time.

For example, the left eye will aim itself towards the hour, while the right eye ‘looks over’ to the current minutes. We do like ourselves some wacky clocks from time to time, and this one will be a conversation starter for certain.

The Eye Clock is selling for £19.99 on Firebox.com.

This little gadget might be the perfect solution for you: The Water-Powered Can Clock. You’ll never have to buy batteries for it, as its powered only by water. Yes, this is for real.

The fluid in the can will actually last 6-12 months, at which time you need to add water to it. Water is cheaper than batteries, needless to say, so this truly is an inexpensive, green solution to the eternal question: “What time is it?”

You can go green for £9.99 or $16 USD through Green Stamp.

It can be strapped to your wrist or you can just put it underneath your pillow if its something that would keep you awake. Then it vibrates to wake you up, and keeps going until you shut it off.

It can be set to beep like a normal alarm clock if you need that sometimes as well, and it includes a slick backlit LED display. You can purchase the clock for £14.99 or about $25 USD by going to Thumbs Up UK.

The frame will hold 30-80 pics or so in it (depending on the size of the pics, of course) with its 4MB memory. It isn’t expandable, but that’s ok given its purpose and size.

The alarm clock is fairly standard, but this is a nice combo deal for someone far away from home to glance at loved ones while still waking in time for meetings and the like. You can own this gadget for £19.95 or about $33 USD from MUJI.

It appears like a normal cheap alarm clock, but it actually has a tiny camera inside that can record video. Pretty neat if you’re the paranoid type.

More here:

There are all types of spy gadgets out there, the trick is finding the one that blends in the most with your style. After all, if you have top of the line electronics everywhere, a cheap alarm clock is going to stand out. If you have very sparse college room type furniture then a tissue box holder with a camera in it is probably going to raise some eyebrows. Well this tiny clock is just one of the many ways you can spy on people while you’re away.

Some might find it a touch paranoid that you have video surveillance going on, but if it helps you sleep at night, then it’s worth the cash. This tiny camcorder is built into the clock and has a built-in rechargeable Li-Battery. That battery will work for up to 2 hours of continuous use. It has 4GB of built-in memory and then is able to use a USB flash drive. It hooks up to your computer to swap out data and charge through a USB cable. It has a switch on and off button that will kick on a light that only briefly twinkles to let you know it’s working.

This bit of spy heaven will run you $47 from Gadget Brando.

Mountable, so no space on your bedside table taken up. This LED clock has all of the everyday normal alarm functions, and is crafted with walnut wood construction with brushed aluminum casing as well, giving it an old-style yet modern look worthy of an IKEA.

You can own the Emily Alarm Clock for $129 from Generate, which is a tad bit on the high side, but we like the thinking with this one.

Very interesting design and look as well; mega-slick.

Just send your message through the iXP3 website (or email) and it will be sent off and displayed in bright red letters by the unit. The fact you need to use their website sorta stinks, but hey, the idea is really cool. When not posting messages, it displays the time and room temperature.

The IPX3 Internet Messaging Clock is being released for public consumption on October 12th for $119.95.
