The screen is 3.5” in size and has a resolution of 320 x 240 (which is decent), and a 4:3 aspect ratio, so longer pics might not display as well. It includes 128MB of memory internally and support for a media card reader too, so it can display even more pictures. You can preset 20 stations on the radio too, so its even useful in that regard.

This is a nice combo gadget for those who do a lot of traveling, as it combines two conveniences into one easy to carry package: an LCD photo frame and an alarm clock with big numbers that folds out from one slim portable design.

The frame will hold 30-80 pics or so in it (depending on the size of the pics, of course) with its 4MB memory.  It isn’t expandable, but that’s ok given its purpose and size. 

The alarm clock is fairly standard, but this is a nice combo deal for someone far away from home to glance at loved ones while still waking in time for meetings and the like.  You can own this gadget for £19.95 or about $33 USD from MUJI.

Mimomonitors.com has prepped the iMo Foto Frame Printer for release. With an 8-inch LCD at 800 x 600 res, it functions quite well as a digital photo frame.

Exemode comes back to the photo frame market by releasing the Yashica DVF828. It is actually a digital photo frame that comes with a built-in scanner. The gadget comes jam packed with an 8-inch (800×600) display screen with a 1GB of internal memory, a memory card slot for storage expansion, and a USB port. iMo has launched an 8-inch (800 x 600) digital photo frame and printer combo gadget, which is known as the iMo Foto Frame Printer. The gadget has a USB input, a slideshow function, an onscreen manual, a remote control, and accepts CF/SD/MS/MMC and xD memory cards. The printer is able to print 6 x 4 glossy picture at 300dpi. We like multi-purpose gadgets, and this one sounds pretty solid.

First, the alarm clock is in there, along with indoor temperature/humidity readings, a full weather station and a 1.8-inch digital frame with 16MB memory built-in (that’s up to 120 pictures, depending on the resolution), all placed together.

The device runs works off a rechargable battery (so its sort of green) and includes a USB port for transferring pics too. The Weather Alarm Clock Photo Triple Frame will run you £49.95 (about $80 USD), which isn’t terribly bad.

The Gaudi GHV-DF10SDW is the very latest and greatest digital picture frame from Green-House Japan, an electronics maker that makes all manner of stuff like this. The display has a 10.2-inch LCD screen with a pretty high 800 x 480 resolution, a sizable 2GB of storage space, and that includes clock and calendar functions too.

The gadget can read SD, SDHC, CF, MS, and xD memory cards (up to 32GB sizes), so its super flexible as well as huge. You can go here to see more about it (Google translator may be required).

The ALBUM gadget has a sharp 7-inch screen with a solid 800 x 480 resolution and a 4GB of storage that can store over 40,000 photos in its digital depths. Basically every photo you ever take with the average family’s lifespan can be stored here.

It also comes in a leather case that flips open and doubles as a stand too. It’s just one of the many very small, portable gadgets being turned out right now to make life easier and simpler, always something we admire here at Gadget Sleuth.

The screen is only a 1.5” LCD one, so the pics will probably have to be fairly small to be seen well, but still big enough to identify loved ones clearly.  Its possible to store up to 70 different photos on it, and it displays a clock as well.

RAM space is pretty cramped though; it comes with only 1MB of memory and no memory card plugins, so file size is a consideration, obviously. For $22.99, it’s not a bad deal at all, and you know how we love our combo gadgets.

The Pocket Album Deluxe has an 2.8 inch super-clear OLED screen, which makes photo files look great with a super-high contrast level of 10,000 to 1. The software to download the pictures to it is self-contained, so no CD to install, which is always nice; it works right out of the box via USB hookup.

The Pocket Album Deluxe has included calendar and slideshow options as well. It’s easily carried around, with a case and stand included too.
