You know the picture: Just finished in the restroom, hands might be not very clean, to put it mildly, and you have to use them to pump out hand soap to wash them with. Kinda nasty….well, now that problem is solved with the Sensor Soap Pump.

This is a completely hands-free soap pump that comes with a built-in infra-red sensor to detect your hand when its stuck below the dispensor and can automatically deliver one of four different volumes of soap you can set.

Slight downside: it requires 4 AA batteries (not included, mind you) to work, but battery life is good: up to a year, and it can hold up to 14 fl.oz of soap at a time. It’ll run you $39.99 to bring the Sensor Soap Pump to your restroom (or kitchen).

They always come up with cool gadgets for reasonable prices, and they always recharge using solar or USB power, so Mother Nature appreciates this company just as much, we’re sure. This is one example of a great Brando gadget we’ve covered previously.

Brando has returned with their latest cool gadget with the Solar-powered Torch, a strong LED flashlight with a small size and infinite rechargeability via the sun.

Measuring 13.0cm x 3.5cm x 3.5cm, the kit comes with 3 400mAh AAA rechargeable batteries, a bright 0.5W LED light, and a solar docking station of sorts to keep the light and recharge it in. It’ll run you $42 to own this light.

Stelton has you covered: they announced the availability of their battery-powered coffee machine, the Stelton Simply Espresso Machine, which is the smallest espresso machine ever created.

It includes a rechargeable battery so you can have a fine cup of joe any time, anywhere, which is quite valauable to a good segment of the population.

It’s simple to use too: fill the boiler with water, throw in a coffee pod, invert it and that’s it. It isn’t cheap, it should be noted: it’ll run you £179 ($291 USD), the Stelton Simply Espresso is a godsend for those of us who depend on the brew to get our brains started in the morning.

It includes two different temp settings, and is powered by a rechargeable battery, so no cords or anything to plug in, which we can appreciate. The maker claims it has all memory foam instead to contour itself to your body, and that will relieve any pressure point issues you may suffer from. And the covering is all leather too, so its super comfy and classy looking.

Did we mention it ain’t cheap? The $799.95 price tag may scare off many, but for those who want this, head on over to Hammacher and Schlemmer.

But the Coin Shrinking Money Box is a bit different in its approach; it appears to “shrink” your coins right in front of your eyes, making for quite a conversation piece.

More from the website:

Of course, it really is an illusion, and you’ll always be able to get your money back again at the correct size – just open up the compartment at the rear and watch your pennies cascade forth. Or for anyone concerned about appearances, it’s made from hardy black plastic, and the interior of the box features an attractive Paisley wallpaper design, so even aesthetically it’s the coolest place to put your wonga. If you’re saving the pennies or even if you just need something to remind you that magic definitely exists, then you should get your hands on the Coin Shrinking Money Box and watch your money shrink while it grows.

It’ll run you £6.99, and works only with UK coins for now, an odd decision. If you’re in Britain and want to convince your youngster to begin saving, here’s the gadget that may help them do so.

This will help you stay close to your loved ones even if you’re away from home.

The screen is 3.5” in size and has a resolution of 320 x 240 (which is decent), and a 4:3 aspect ratio, so longer pics might not display as well. It includes 128MB of memory internally and support for a media card reader too, so it can display even more pictures. You can preset 20 stations on the radio too, so its even useful in that regard.
