Do they end up dying no matter what you do? You might want to look into the Power Plant Growing Machine, if this is the case.

This cool invention is detailed here on the site:

A result of pioneering NASA technology this mains-powered box of magic lets you grow plants, all season, without soil. A nifty internal microjet system constantly sprays roots with super-oxygenated, nutrient rich water so crops grow bigger and stronger. All you do is add water to a special nutrient mix (included) and pour it over the spongy strip that sits below the brim of the Power Plant. Next, sow your seeds on the sponge, replace the lid, stick the whole shebang on the window sill, sit back and dream of Alan Titchmarsh. Once the shoots appear, maintenance is minimal. You can even use the Power Plant to grow flowers.

It can reused an unlimited amount of times, which renders the £34.95 retail price a great deal, especially for those who love plants but don’t have the touch with them they’d like to have.

Blasting friends and foes alike with a stream of water is always a good time, and this new water cannon allows you to stand up to 100 feet away and hit your target. Just make sure you can run afterward, unless you like to be blasted as well.

It even comes with a remote that works up to 30? away; this is high tech water blasting, folks. It has three different nozzles you can change that allow you to choose between a stream, mist or spray.

Mist mode seems fine for watering a garden or plants, so it may be practical to own one as well as fun. It has a base it can sit on and it tilts upwards too. Just insert 4 C batteries (not included) that powers the cannon up to 10 hours. You can own this fun/practical gadget for only $59.95.

It seems nearly everything is made to be rechargeable or solar powered these days, in humanity’s quest to reduce our footprint on the earth.

Its quiet due to being an electric mower, but no extension cords or anything annoying like that to get in your way as you’re mowing. The best of both worlds, so to speak.

The Neutron CE 6 slashes a 19” path in your lawn, so its plenty big to get the job done. It can cut up to a 1/3 of an acre or so on a charge, so it isn’t as good if you have a huge spread to cut (which equals around 15,000 sq ft). In a nice touch though, it comes with a spare battery, so if runs low, you can just switch batteries and keep on going.

This ain’t cheap, though, as you expected: To own the mower it will cost you $499.

Haven’t you ever loved your garden enough to actually want to watch it grow? Now you can with this very unique new gadget: The Timelapse Garden Video Camera.

You can set the camera up to showa single plant and track its growth or set a wider view so that you can watch the entire bed of flowers as it blooms. You can set camera picture intervals, from 5 seconds to 24 hours, with 6 different settings. It even shuts off at dusk, so you can see things clearly.

The camera comes with 2GB (or 1800 usable pictures) of storage included, and is weather and temp resistant, and runs with 4 AA batteries.

You can watch your beloved garden grow to adulthood for the rather high price of $159.95.

Now there’s a gadget that might be able to do something about it.

The Solar Underground Pest Deterrent won’t hurt the ground or environment in any fashion, and uses the power of the sun to operate, so no batteries or electricity. It silently drives away underground critters like moles and gophers that can annoy and hurt your garden. Here’s more from the company itself:

The weatherproof anodized aluminum spike stakes into the ground, where it emits sonic vibrations every 30 seconds that irritate burrowing pests and compel them to disperse. The deterrent operates within a diameter of 94 1/2?, and the 4? sq. solar panel charges an integrated battery during the day, even in low light and overcast conditions, so it operates both day and night. The panel fully charges within three hours in full sunlight conditions and will operate for up to eight hours on a full charge.

So pest control and it even comes with a rechargable solar power pack for $59.95 each, which isn’t too bad if you’re growing prize produce and want to keep burrowing critters away. Perfect for any avid gardener out there.
