You ever get really lazy? Like I don’t want to raise my hand to wash my hair or turn off a light switch lazy? We all do from time to time, and GizFever has your back with their USB Voice Control LED Lamp.

Pink Is The New “Green”: The LED Phone-Jack Powered Table Lamp

Yes, this is a unique lamp, and yes, its pink for some strange reason. Its also very cool if you have frequent power outages, as it draws its power not from a wall plug, but a phone jack. So you can have light even if the power is completely out. Did I mention its pink?

Yes, its totally powered by the phone jack, so if you have one free and you aren’t using it, plug this baby in and save some coin on your electric bill. The (pink) plastic lamp has 8 bright white LED lights, and an on/off switch. The alternate “green” power source is the big draw of this one.

Shed Some Light: The Hanging Flashlight Lamps

Flashlights are necessary if not always pretty necessities of daily life, in case of wanting to see in dark places, blackouts, or other assorted reasons. These hanging pendant lights are an interesting design, hang so they’re out of the way, and fairly practical as well. The price isn’t the best, but they’re solid and effective, and stylish too, and that always seems to carry a premium these days.

There’s three different sizes: the small one that’s 7 inches by 2 inches, a medium model that is 7.5 inches by 3 inches and finally the large one which is 6 inches by 4.5 inches. They all have a nice 12 foot cord, that should be more than enough to accommodate your needs.

Now the price part: each light (not all three) is $42, and you get them from Fred Flare.

Style Gadget: The Light Pillow

We like to cover slick, cool and seemingless useless style gadgets sometimes, and here’s a prime example of just such a thing: The Light Pillow. It’s a lamp that’s very slick and looks like a pillow or a “cloud” in a stylized room.

It can be thrown onto the floor, put on a table, hung up on the wall or even used as a chandelier too; it’s pretty flexible. It’s also easy to wash, so for those of you that would use this for a child’s room, it’d still be an option. It’s still functional as a bright lamp, and it blends in with the wall hangings and decor easily.

The cover itself is removable and made of cotton, while the frame is made of powder-coated metal for a very modern look. They give no indication as to what type of light bulb this needs or if it’s an LED light (we’d assume its an LED light).

A Bright Idea: The Philips SpotOn Motion Sensing LED Light

Some areas of a house (closets, etc) just tend to be very dark and hard to see in, and while existing lights work ok sometimes, there really isn’t an ideal solution that really works, is compact and doesn’t need “turning on”…until now with the Philips SpotOn light.

It’s a budget friendly and bright little light that is hung on the wall. When it senses movement, it automatically kicks on, so no fumbling to turn it on or press anything. It has inside of it 3 energy efficient LED lights, so its bright enough to get the job done, but it won’t waste energy. It shuts off by itself after 20 seconds of no motion. It needs 3 AAA batteries to power itself.

Feminine Form: The Lotus USB Webcam with LED Light

If ever there was a feminine gadget created, this one is it. It’s shaped like a flower and its pink. It’s also a webcam with an LED light built in, so it did qualify was enough coolness to be covered here.

The webcam is hidden in the big pink flower and then in addition to that it has 12 LED lights to brighten up any sort of space very well. Both the light and webcam are on a bendable neck, so you can get the angle just the way you want it.

The light itself has a on/off switch so you can turn it on and off at will. The base even has a suction cup so it’ll stay wherever you put it, a nice thoughtful feature.

Blooming Light: The Flower Charming Light with Torch

This is pretty much a “what you see is what you get” kinda gadget, but in a softer form than we’re used to, being nerds and all. This device is aimed more at the young female in the family, it being a lamp that’s shaped like a flower: The Flower Charming Light. It also includes a brighter flashlight torch built-in that can be used to find the bathroom, for instance.

The lamp itself can be turned on by pushing on the flower top, so that its only on when desired. There’s a switch on the base of the lamp that turns on the flashlight part of the gadget.

It uses 3 AAA batteries to function, so its not too greedy, but it has no AC power option unfortunately (a real oversight). You can brighten up any girl’s room with this for only $8.99 from GizFever.

No Batteries Required: The Hand Winding Solar Camping Lamp

One question: Why can they put a man in space, but they can’t make a decent lantern not require 8 D batteries to stay powered? Well, now maybe they’ve fixed this pressing question, with the Hand Winding Solar Camping Lamp.

It not only uses solar power to charge it while the sun is up, but it has a hand crank for when the sun isn’t up to power itself. It has 6 LED lights going at once or you can switch to dimmer light (3 LEDs on). It’s not a huge lantern, but it would work just fine in many situations.

Get Bugged: The Firefly Accent Lamp

We like to present home improvement gadgets and items every so often, and we just thought this one was too cute to pass up.

Accent lighting with animal themes is usually something you think of for the outdoors, but indoors. But everyone needs to get bugged every once in awhile, so here’s our contribution to beautifying your indoor space: The Firefly Accent Lamp.

It does need to plug in with a conventional cord, but if you have an enclosed deck, it would work outside too. You can stick up to a 12-watt bulb inside this bug, but use a flickering lamp for best effect (according to makers of the lamp), which will give it the ideal firefly appearance.

Tiny Point of Light: The Mr. Brightside USB Light

Lighting is always a good thing when doing various types of tasks, and this little USB light doesn’t need any sort of batteries and can be taken anywhere. It’s quite tiny, so it might not be super bright, but it appears very convenient to tote around.

These sorts of devices have seen big growth recently with the discovery of USB power by gadget makers. There are a fair number of USB lights, and we’ve even covered a few here at GS. This is among the most portable we’ve seen.

The light comes in a array of colors: black, cherry, lime and blueberry to fit your decor. They sell them in singles or a pack of 3 for a cheaper price. If you only buy 1, it’ll run you $9 but for 3 its only $20, which is quite a savings, and makes them easy to replace should they break.
