You stay seated for many hours at a time, and move around very little. Now there’s a cool new gadget to get your blood pumping even from sitting around: the Circulation Improving Seated Stepper. We like this one a lot, read here for more details:

This is the low-impact stepper that keeps blood flowing to minimize swelling while seated. Lightweight and portable, the device can slide easily beneath your desk at home or at the office. The two footpads provide resistance using strong elastic bands; each step tones your legs and hips, burning calories and improving circulation. Two additional elastic bands with foam handholds extend from either side of the unit, providing a workout for the arms. You can increase the resistance by adding the included additional set of bands. A built-in timer located between the two footpads tracks your workouts.

Made of strong steel for durability and folds easily for quick storage, the Circulation Improving Seated Stepper will set you back a reasonable $49.95. Great for desk hounds that need to sit at a computer for a living many hours a day.

It includes two different temp settings, and is powered by a rechargeable battery, so no cords or anything to plug in, which we can appreciate. The maker claims it has all memory foam instead to contour itself to your body, and that will relieve any pressure point issues you may suffer from. And the covering is all leather too, so its super comfy and classy looking.

Did we mention it ain’t cheap? The $799.95 price tag may scare off many, but for those who want this, head on over to Hammacher and Schlemmer.

It’s not as “fancy” as all of the digital weather stations, but it certainly will look good sitting in your home. That may or may not be worth it to you.

This gadget reads barometric pressure and gives temperature and humidity readings in a rather old-fashioned way. It measures everything in Celsius, unfortunately, so someone in the US may not find this as useful.

It’s finished in shiny brass and the sphere itself is made of Plexiglas. As you may have guessed, this ain’t cheap. It runs at £109.95 or about $182 USD, but if you’re a weather buff and looking for something head turning for your house, this may be just the ticket.

The Block Calculator measures at 5.5 x 2.5 x 1 inches, so its small enough to carry with you or place in tight spots. No, we’re not sure if regular legos will fit on it for bizarre color combos, but it might be fun if so.

The “buttons” are the studs in the block, and they should be plenty big for even the biggest hands, so anyone can use this comfortably.

The Block Calculator can be pre-ordered in a rainbow of colors, namely: black, red, green, and blue. This gadget should be available in August for $27 or so.

We all need fresh clean air, especially those stuck at a desk a good part of the day. That’s why this gadget is pretty useful indeed; a USB Air Purifier that also looks like an attractive plant pot too.

The manufacturer even allows the possibility of putting real plants in the pot, so the electronics required for the air purifier are well protected, you’d assume. Unless it’s a scheme to get you to buy more because they break.

It also has a blue night light with 3 LED lights in it that is controlled through an on/off switch on the gadget itself for added convergence, which we always like. The purifier uses a carbon filter to clean the air, so it does multiple somewhat useful things at once.

You can grab the Flowerpot USB Air Purifier for $29.90 from Gadget4all.
