Now here’s something that’s (sort of) been thought of, but never executed expertly enough to be truly useful. This new gadget may change that.

The newly announced Pocket Wireless Touchpad offers you the ability to control your computer from any point in a room wirelessly, featuring a small touchpad that fits in your hand, with full media buttons and a laser pointer for real control during any presentation.

The battery lasts 4 hours or so, which should be plenty unles you’re unlucky enough to need to present something longer than that. It can be USB charged or docked into a laptop slot.

Since the 2.4GHz Bluetooth connection is completely safe, no one can steal or grab any of your data or images from your presentation. The tech vendor ThinkGeek is selling this for $59.99, which isn’t bad at all.
