Nowadays, everything is portable, and that includes internet routers. Enter the ZyXEL MWR222.

The MWR222 from ZyXEL is a tough, pocket-sized, fully 11n-compatible portable Wi-FI router that users can take with them wherever they go, making it great for road warriors/hotel veterans who need net access on the go, without all the bulky gadgets typically needed for such access.

The device includes 2 Ethernet and 2 USB 2.0 ports with a built-in rechargeable battery that gives you up to 2 hours of operation time.

This pocket rocket also has built-in security features, and more goodies. It’ll be released in Q1 2010 for $299.99 retail price, and here’s a press release all about it.

Yes, that’s what they’re claiming.

These little marvels will sell for $79.99, it allows you to use wireless internet anywhere in the world pretty much, with built-in specs to allow this for at least the next 5 years or so.

Its small enough to fit in your pocket, comes with a slick carrying case, a 3-foot Ethernet cable, and is able to be connected to USB for power purposes (and comes with a power adapter too, should you need one).

It includes MIMO technology for best coverage and no dead spots, so its great for large hotel suites or tiny motels on the edge of town.

You can configure it for multiple users if desired, and all around it seems like a road warrior’s dream, for those that need a net connection during their travels.

Remember all those futuristic TV shows where people could see who they were calling on little screens? It’s already happening.

Of course, Skype is a interesting thing. There are those who cannot do without it (the business/networking people mostly), and there are those who have never tried it and have no clue what it is. If you are in the former category, then you probably work in some business that requires a lot of video conferencing with clients. If you are in the latter category, then you should also find the SV1 easy to use with an icon-based interface and button-based layout.

As for the Net connection, the AiGuru allows for an 802.11 b/g wireless or to Ethernet via router. It doesn’t need a PC to operate. As for the power, it has a battery that can operate for about 20 minutes, and is rechargeable. That might be long enough for a full video conversation, but that might be enough to move the SV1 if need be.

It’s $299.95 and available for purchase here: Link

Not only did TiVo change how you watch television, but with their wireless USB network adapter they’ll change where you watch it as well. If you have a series 2 or 3 TiVo DVR along with a wireless network in your home, then there’s no reason for you to be stuck watching your recorded shows only in the living room. With this wireless network adapter for your DVR, that’s specifically designed to work with your TiVo, you’ll get TiVo to-go with multi-room viewing transfers, music and photos, online scheduling and more. This USB adapter is plug and play, so you only need to connect it to your 802.11b/g home network and your TiVo should automatically detect it allowing you to get seamless entertainment from your DVR around the house. With this wireless USB adapter you’ll no longer need the use of a phone line that was needed in the past for distributing this service around your house. When you want to get more from your TiVo through your wireless network then buy the inexpensive TiVo Wireless G USB Network Adapter.

It was simply a matter of time before we needed the digital photo frame thanks to the proliferation of digital cameras. What makes the 15″ Digital Spectrum MF-8115 great is the 802.11 connectivity, so you can connect to a wireless network to access pictures from your computer and photo sharing sites. This is more than just a simple photo frame as it plays MP3 audio and WMV video so you can add a soundtrack to your slideshow or watch digital videos.
