The design is pretty basic here; no flashing neon lights or cartoon characters, so for those who favor aesthetics, look elsewhere. This is strictly for the heavy-duty USB user; just plug it into your system and you’re all set. It’s compatible with USB 2.0 or 1.1 devices.

It isn’t cheap either: it’ll run you $69.99 at USB Fever.  A USB junkie would consider that a bargain, no doubt.

Instead these come in red and blue, and they’re tasteful tones of the two colors.  The hub features 4 USB ports for all your different gadgets to plug into.

Plus the hubs are placed along the sides, so they won’t take away from the attractiveness of the butterfly form.  And best of all, it’s affordable as well; you can grab this for $10.99 from USB Fever, a site specialzing in cool USB gadgets.

When the hub isn’t being used, the light itself wraps around the hub, shielding it fron dirt and grime, another design touch we really like. It also comes with 4 USB ports, another convenience we really like.

For some odd reason, they chose this bright green as the only color it comes in. So needless to say, if this one won’t fit in well with your other gadgets, you may need to pass on this.

The Elecom Compact 10 Port USB Hub is especially cool for a family computer, where many gadgets would tend to gather together. With this, no more plugging and unplugging things as different people get on the system.

The USB Hub comes in three colors: black, silver or white.  You can grab this convenience for ¥ 9,500.00 or about $101 USD from Geek Stuff 4 U. Now this isn’t cheap, needless to say; some might elect to do the plug/unplug shuffle rather than pay for what essentially is a convenience.

The USB Spinning Hub includes four USB 2.0 ports that are revealed by spinning the the top of the hub, and allows you to save a ton of desk space in the process. They come in a few designer (bright) colors as well, so they’ll fit into any scheme, whether it be normal or pastel. They come in the pictured orange or green.

It supports Windows only and is for sale for only $12 from USB Geek.

It’s a mixed function gadget, which we love: it’s a mouse pad, calculator and USB port all in one device, which is pretty cool. Its a little weird to combine these types of gadgets, but it’ll appeal to some users out there, especially for the right price.

The calculator itself has an on/off button and can be plugged in with a 5V power adapter (not included).  There’s 3 different ports for your USB gadgets to plug into.

The pad itself also gives a bright blue glow as well, so you can use your computer in darker spaces.  You can own this for only $17.99 from GizFever.

The Heart Hub only has 4 ports, but most people don’t need more than that, so it’s plenty for many. It’s compatible with either Mac or PC and will work easily with either system.  It comes in three color choices: pink, blue and bright yellow. Not a grey in sight, which should signal this wasn’t created for them.

Brando, makers of many unusual USB devices, is selling these fairly cheap:  $10.

These are official Lego products, but they bear almost exactly the same appearance and markings, so they’ll work just fine. They’re available in a bunch of colors: Red, blue, yellow, and black.

There’s actually a wire that comes out of the Lego brick itself that attaches via a mini USB port, which enable these to be connected together to form groups of USB hubs. We’re assuming anyway; the site doesn’t mention if this is possible.

It’s available from a Korean company for $12 right now. So if you remember spending hours sticking together Legos, these drives will do you just fine.
